Ecological white latex is a water-based environmental adhesive with polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) lotion as the main component, which is widely used in home decoration, woodworking, wallpaper pasting, paper products processing and other fields. Its core advantages are formaldehyde free, low VOC, odorless, and washable, making it the preferred environmentally friendly material to replace traditional solvent based adhesives.

1、 Core components and technical standards

Main ingredients: polyvinyl acetate lotion (solid content is usually 35% – 45%), supplemented by thickeners, preservatives, antifreeze and other additives, to form a stable aqueous system.

Execution standards:

GB 18583-2008 "Limits of Hazardous Substances in Adhesives for Interior Decoration Materials": Free formaldehyde ≤ 1.0g/kg, which is a mandatory national bottom line;

High end product standards: Some brands have tested 'undetected' free formaldehyde, with VOC content ≤ 5g/L (far below the national standard limit of 10g/L);

Certification mark: Products that have passed the China Environmental Labeling Product Certification (Ten Ring Certification) can be clearly labeled with "formaldehyde free" and "healthy adhesive".

Construction requirements:

Environmental temperature ≥ 5 ℃, avoid low-temperature freezing;

The bonding surface needs to be cleaned and dried, evenly coated, and then slightly dried before pressing;

After bonding, it is recommended to apply pressure for 2-4 hours and dry at room temperature for 24 hours to achieve optimal strength.

3、 Application scenarios and construction points

Wallpaper pasting: Apply evenly on the back of the wallpaper, let it stand for 3-5 minutes until the glue is slightly sticky, then press it firmly on the wall to avoid bubbles.

Woodworking panel: suitable for finger joints of medium fiber board, density board, and solid wood. It is recommended to use fixtures to apply pressure and avoid single point stress.

Putty blending: can be mixed with putty powder in a ratio of 1:5 to enhance adhesion and crack resistance.

Attention:

Do not mix with solvent based adhesives;

Winter transportation requires anti freezing and storage temperature of 0-45 ℃;

Sealed and stored after opening, with a shelf life of 12 months.
